Ms Gay Kildare 2011 - Mary Gibney

On the night of the 28th of May, Kildare LGBT were the first county to hold their Mr, Mr & Alternative Gay heats. For Kildare it was also the first time they held heats for the respective events.

The first ever Ms Gay Kildare 2011 was won by Mary Gibney show your support on her facebook page.

Mr Gay Kildare was won by Cris Pender, The motivation and determination behind Kildare LGBT and it’s many sucessful events. Cris is the founder of Founding member and Chairperson of Sunrise LGBT Kildare and Chairperson of K.L.G.B.T.. Show yur support for Cris on the Mr Gay Kildare 2011 Facebook page

It will take place as part of our Spring Break weekend on Friday April 29th in The Tower Hotel Waterford….
The evening will include a champagne reception in Dignity, with Limos to the tower hotel, a 4 course meal and an after party in Dignity an…d ALL are welcome!!

Announcing the inaugural Gay In South East Awards 2011 atTower Hotel Waterford on the 29th April 2011.

The awards are open to anyone from the South East incorporating – Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford, Tipperary, Carlow, Laois and Kildare.

The public may vote until April 8th at which point, the 5 nominees in each catogory will be announced. The panel featuring a representative from each county will then choose the winners to be announced on the night.

  • Entertainter of the year (Any entertainer performing in gay venues or events in the South East)
  • Event of the year (Any LGBT event taking place in the South East)
  • Gay Friendly Business of the year (Any business with exceptional relations with the LGBT community)
  • Hall Of Fame (Anyone who has made LGBT life better here in the South East and Ireland as a whole)
  • LGBT Business of the year (Any LGBT business in the South East)
  • LGBT Organisation of the year (Any LGBT organisation opperating in the South East)
  • LGBT Person of the year (Any LGBT person who has made a substantial contribution to the LGBT community in the South East)
  • Scene DJ of the year (Any DJ performing on the gay scene or at gay events in the South East)
  • Social Group of the year (Any currently active LGBT social group in the South East)
  • Straight of the year (Any person who identifies as straight who has made a contribution to LGBT life in the South East)
  • Volunteer of the year (Any volunteer working with or on behalf of the LGBT community in the South East)
